Jokke Paananen

My own career in private equity investment began in Stockholm, during the latter half of the 1990s. Industri Kapital and CVC proved to be efficient training grounds for the secrets of private equity on the global market place. It was during my years abroad that I developed a desire to apply my skills in Finland, in the form of my own company.
 
My years as an entrepreneur at Intera now number five. We have been involved in the creation of several success stories in Finland and other Nordic countries. Intera has grown into a highly competent ten-person team, with a strong spirit of inner entrepreneurship. The work is hard and demanding but, at the same time, extremely rewarding. Together with top entrepreneurs and business leaders, I have had the opportunity to promote and internationalize medium-sized companies.
 
My goal is to ensure that, in the years to come, we will be an increasingly attractive partner to entrepreneur-led companies looking to clear obstacles standing in the way of growth. For my part, work continues, especially with regard to the development of Normek, Kamux, and Animagi, and in terms of the search for new growth stories.
